With autumn almost here, Sullivan County and the Delaware River, in particular will soon be showing the beauty of God’s creation more than usual. Vibrant yellows, oranges, and reds will fill the tree lines and mountains, acorns will drop, and the days will turn crisp. It’s the perfect time to experience the gorgeous grounds at Eddy Farm, and with two special events coming up in October, an even better time for reflection and personal growth. Early October will be a time of relaxation for seniors, and the last weekend of the month is dedicated to strengthening marriages.

Prime Timers week is just that – a laid-back week of discounted rates October 7-10 for seniors 55 and older. There’s no schedule to adhere to, no talks to attend, just four days of relaxation, reflection, and worship. Take in the scenery from the front porch, walk the prayer path, play games, or just socialize. It’s up to you. To learn more about Prime Timer discounts call (845) 858-4300.

Maybe you’re years away from taking advantage of Prime Timers discount but you’d like to strengthen your relationship with the person you want to spend that prime time with. Book your stay for the weekend of October 25-27 and attend our 2019 Married Couples Conference. Facilitated by Pastor Dennis and Sister Fanita Henderson, this weekend will focus on the topic of increasing intimacy.

Beyond their thirty-five years of marriage, the Henderson’s combined experience spans marriage conferences like ours, counseling, and non-denominational ministry. Pastor Dennis is an ordained minister and frequent speaker at marriage and men’s ministry conferences, as well as a worship leader for the Men’s Ministry Movement, a coalition of men’s ministries from various churches throughout New York City. Sister Fanita is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice and an adjunct professor at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, where she obtained her Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2006. As a Christian therapist, she has the privilege of helping many people work through life’s challenges, and through God’s grace, has helped people struggling with depression, trauma, relationships, and marriages.  Her ultimate desire is to help people thrive in their relationships to the glory of God. To learn more about the Married Couples Conference, click here.

Whether you’re looking to be far from the stresses of daily life or grow closer to your spouse in spite of those stresses, October is the time to visit Eddy Farm.
