Looking Back with Gratitude and Looking Ahead with Excitement

November at Eddy Farm is a time to reflect on all we are grateful for. This year, there has been so much for which to give thanks: married couples’ retreats, Family Week, women’s and men’s conferences; the list goes on. But just as November marks the end of autumn, it also marks the end of our business season. We take the winter months off to spend time with family, celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, and welcome the new year. Even though the retreat will be closed for the season, that doesn’t mean that all things Eddy Farm come to a stop, however.
Winter is a great time to plan your visit and reserve your spots at our seasonal events in advance. Many of the aforementioned retreats and conferences recur annually. Keep monitoring our calendar of events to stay informed as dates get set. You’ll want to book your stay right away! When doing so, remember that Eddy Farm offers discounted group rates. For more info on group rates, as well as mid-week rates, call (845) 858-4300.
When you visit us in the new year, you’ll find improved amenities, as well. During the off-season, Eddy Farm will be undergoing renovations, making the retreat even more welcoming. Among these changes will be a new basketball court and new family activities. To accomplish these upgrades, we’re accepting donations of new or gently used recreational equipment, like bicycles, tennis racquets, footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, etc. We are also looking for volunteers who have experience with painting, roofing, and plumbing. To donate or volunteer, call the number above.
This Christmas season, we hope that the main things on your schedule will be family and the Lord. Please offer up prayers for the success of our ministry in the upcoming year, and come spring, we’ll be back open for business and better than ever!
